Tagaytay Talkies 1

I make it a point to visit Tagaytay and spend a night there after a grueling work week. Usually I stay at 5r which is near Picnic Grove and People's Park. The owner is kind and calls me as one of her "suki" or regular visitor. My room costs less than 1200php because i prefer no aircon but that room has it's own amenities (hot water, and cable tv) which is enough for a overnighter. There's a room with a/c but you have to pay around 1300-1500php plus an additional bed just in case there will be 3-4 sleepy heads inside the room. There's a church in the vicinity so no need to worry about being late for mass.

If you would like to try eat out and would like to do some sight seeing; there are lots of options waiting. There's Carlo's Pizza (my favorite!), Mile High Diner, Dencio's, Yellow Cab Pizza, Teriyaki Boy, cafe reton, and the lists goes on and on. You may want to try out cliffhouse if you would like to have a romantic and not that noisy dinner (with a view of the lake)

For take home or "pasalubongs" - you may buy treats from leslie's which is like scattered everywhere. There are 2 leslie's near 5r so no need to worry.

How to reach Tagaytay

1. Take a bus from edsa-taft (i think it's crow bus) going to Nasugbu and one way ticket is 74php per person (2hrs ride-thanks to the bacoor/imus/coastal road traffic)

2. From tagaytay rotunda board a trike (40php) going to a keni po or wherever you wanna stay
