Let me start by quoting something about bookbinding that I recently found out via wiki...
The craft of bookbinding originated in India, where religious sutra were copied onto palm leaves (cut into two, lengthwise) with a metal stylus. The leaf was then dried and rubbed with ink, which would form a stain in the wound. The finished leaves were given numbers, and two long twines were threaded through each end through wooden boards. When closed, the excess twine would be wrapped around the boards to protect the leaves of the book. Buddhist monks took the idea through modern Persia, Afghanistan, and Iran, to China in the first century BC.
Providing high quality book binding ensures customer satisfaction. Making customers or clients happy ensures harmony between producer and consumer. There's also a high return on profit which makes it possible to expand or acquire additional machines.

The Coverbind system is nice but I think the system from Binding Systems of America is excellent. They offer both soft and hard cover and they work great. I never have any trouble with the first or last sheet not binding in. It is perfect for the high volume insurance industry and CPA's
